Envision yourself, playing as a Toon in Toontown Rewritten, getting ready for an edge-of-your-seats Cog battle inside the dull colored Cog Building. Once you get in, you get so exhilarated and excited to bust some cogs with your Gags, But then, on the last floor of the building, after roughly 20-30 minutes of hard work, right about to make the finishing blow that dastardly Cog, the next thing you see is a 20 second pause and a message that reads, "The internet connection to the servers has been unexpectedly broken ." You growl, you scream, and on occasion some tears are shed (That is, if you are an extremely intense gamer). But think of all of the time and devotion you set yourself to, has been sadly thrown down the drain.
For those who don't know, Toontown Rewritten is a child-friendly MMO game that takes a nice throwback to the what is now closed Toontown, where you have the ability to interact with other Toons in real life. Your character is a Toon, a friendly, colorful, fun-loving, animated animal character with a basic heart of gold. The object of the game is to defeat cogs and to complete tasks to make your Toon stronger. Cogs are the main antagonists of the game, wanting to put a damper on your fun. You defeat the cogs with Gags, which you can buy at the Gag Store, along with making them more abundant and even stronger with Tasks. Now that we have the gist out of the way, let's move on to the real subject--LAG.
-A Toon in battle with a Cog
Lag has struck almost every player of Toontown, from apathetic servers, "broken" connection, to the entire server being reset! Okay, I'll make this short and sweet. Sure the Staff can add some pretty cool additions to the game, but do they even TRY to fix a singular problem that sucks people's time down the drain, much less make a mini-series to stall for an addition everybody has been waiting for. So Toontown Rewritten Staff, are YOU Toon enough?
